Terms of Use

The Nuclear Dandelion portal (this website) and the “Nuclear Dandelions” mobile app are operated by Echo Persona LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company (“we,” “us,” the “Service”). We build these tools so members of our Burning Man theme camp can organize dues, logistics, rides, shifts, photos, and day-to-day camp life.

These Terms of Use are a legal agreement between you and Echo Persona LLC. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Service.

The Service is a private, invitation- and application-based tool intended for camp members and prospective members. It is not a public social network. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and the app is rated for a 17+ audience.

• You agree to provide accurate information when you apply or register.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• Camp organizers may approve, decline, suspend, or remove membership at their discretion, including where these terms are broken.

When you use the Service, you agree that you will not:

• Post content that is illegal, or that promotes illegal activity.
• Harass, threaten, bully, dox, or discriminate against another member, or post hateful or abusive content.
• Impersonate another person, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
• Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes someone else’s intellectual-property or privacy rights.
• Share sexually explicit material involving minors, or any content that sexualizes a minor.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or areas of the Service that are not yours, or probe, scrape, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service to send spam, chain messages, or unsolicited promotions.

You keep ownership of the messages, photos, ride posts, statuses, and other content you create (“User Content”). By posting it, you grant Echo Persona LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute that content within the Service for the purpose of operating the camp’s tools.

You are responsible for your User Content and confirm you have the rights to share it. Content you keep private to yourself in the app — such as your personal journal and private counters — is not licensed to us for display to anyone else; see our Privacy Policy for how that data is handled.

This is a community space and we moderate it as one. We may review, remove, or restrict any content, and suspend or terminate any account, if we believe it breaks these terms or harms the community — with or without notice.

The app provides tools to report and block content or members. Reports are reviewed by camp organizers, and you can escalate anything to support@mynucleardandelion.com. We aim to act on reports of objectionable content and abusive users promptly, typically within 24 hours. See the Support page for details.

The web portal records camp dues and registration details. Any actual payment is arranged directly between you and the camp through third-party services (for example Venmo or PayPal) — the Service does not process payments and does not store your card or bank details. Dues, refunds, and camp-participation questions are handled by camp organizers, not through the app store.

The Service may show event schedules, maps, camp placement, and other logistical information, some of which is drawn from third-party sources. We provide it for convenience and cannot guarantee that it is accurate, complete, or current. Always confirm critical details (dates, placement, gate and travel information) with official sources.

Nuclear Dandelion and Echo Persona LLC are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Burning Man Project. “Burning Man” and related marks belong to their respective owners. Any event data sourced from Burning Man Project is used under its applicable terms.

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure to function — including Supabase for hosting and data storage, and Apple and Expo for delivering push notifications when you enable them. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers’ terms where applicable.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information in it is accurate.

Burning Man is an inherently strenuous and risky environment. The Service is an organizational tool only and is not a substitute for your own preparation, judgment, and radical self-reliance.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Echo Persona LLC and its organizers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — such as content licenses for material you already shared, disclaimers, and liability limits — will continue to apply.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify members in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Mexico.
