Privacy Policy
Nuclear Dandelion is a private tool for one theme camp — not a social network, not an ad platform. We collect the minimum needed to run camp life, we sell nothing, and some of your data is so private that not even camp admins can read it.

What this covers
This policy covers the Nuclear Dandelion web portal (this website) and the “Nuclear Dandelions” iOS app, both operated by Echo Persona LLC (New Mexico, USA). Questions any time: support@mynucleardandelion.com.
What we collect
Your account and profile. Email address, name, playa name, avatar photo, and optional details you choose to add: phone number, bio, pronouns, dietary notes, and skills. Emergency contact and medical notes are optional and are visible only to camp administrators — never to other members.
Camp logistics (web portal). Event registrations, dues and payment records (amounts and status — we do not store card numbers; payments happen through Venmo/PayPal outside the Service), gear assignments, work shifts, and meals.
Camp content you post (app and portal).Chat messages and images, photo-wall uploads, ride offers and requests, packing lists, event RSVPs, supply claims and requests, announcements, and — if you choose to set one — a status (“headed to”) with an optional location pin.
Location.Only when you tap a feature that needs it (the map, “Where am I,” the compass, or dropping a pin). Location is read on-demand and is never collected in the background. Status pins you share expire from view after roughly eight hours.
Data that is private — even from admins
Some records are yours alone. They are protected by database row-level security so that no other member and no administrator can read them:
- Your event attendance record (“burn record” marks).
- Your personal counters and their history (Counter Culture).
Two features never leave your phone at all: the burn journal (including voice memos) and any counters you keep in device-only mode. We could not read them if we wanted to — they are not uploaded.
How we use data
- To run the Service: sync your content between your devices and your camp.
- To send notifications you control (chat, reminders, announcements) — you can turn each category off in the app.
- To keep the community safe: handling reports of content that breaks the rules.
We do not sell data, show ads, run analytics or tracking SDKs, or profile you. There is no advertising identifier collection.
Where your data lives
Content is stored with Supabase(our database and file-storage provider) on servers in the United States, and locally on your device so the app works offline. Push notifications, when enabled, are delivered through Apple and Expo’s notification services; notification payloads are kept deliberately generic. These infrastructure providers process data on our behalf and are the only third parties involved.
Your choices and rights
- View and edit your profile at any time in the app or portal.
- Delete your account from the app’s settings — this removes your profile and personal rows; content you posted to shared spaces may remain attributed to a removed member.
- Purge specific histories (counters, pins, statuses) from Settings → Privacy.
- Ask us anything, or request a data export or deletion by hand: support@mynucleardandelion.com.
Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and the app is intended for a 17+ audience. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will note the new date above and say so in the app or portal. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
